Personal: Volmar competed at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta for Haiti, but is now representing the United States and has aspirations of becoming the first U.S. athlete to win a gold medal at the Olympic Games. Volmar had one of the most impressive comebacks at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials when he returned from knee surgery in February to win the Trials in only his second return to the mat since his injury.
