The Rock Promoted to Honorary Black Belt

WWE star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was awarded with an honorary black belt rank prior to the premier of his new movie Gridiron Gang on Friday in San Jose, Calif.

Johnson was promoted by Mr. Yosh Uchida, former USA Judo President and head of the San Jose State University Judo program. 

Following his award, Johnson promoted three members of the After School All Stars.  Former junior Natonal Champions Lisette Abad was promoted to nikyu (brown) while Alexandria Duran received her sankyu (purple) belt.

Abad and Duran later had the opportunity to interview Johnson on the red carpet as junior broadcasters.
