USA Judo National Junior Olympic Championships
2006 USA Judo National Junior Olympic Championships Entry Packet
The USA Judo Junior Olympic National Championships will be held at the San Jose State University Event Center in San Jose, Calif., July 8-9 and is a point event for Intermediate through IJF Junior divisions. Registration will be conducted on July 7.
Competition will be held in the following divisions:
Bantam 1 (Born 2000)
Bantam 2 (Born 1999)
Bantam 3 (Born 1998)
Intermediate 1 (Born 1996-1997)
Intermediate 2 (Born 1994-1995)
Juvenile A (Born 1992-1993)
Juvenile B (Born in 1990-1991)
IJF Jr (Born 1987 & Later)
Bantam and Intermediate divisions will be contested July 8. Juvenile and IJF Junior divisions will be contested July 9.

The Hotel package includes up to 4 people per room for the rate of $105, plus occupancy tax.
Transportation from the airport is available via taxi or you may catch the free #10 bus from the airport to the light rail that will take you directly downtown to in front of the Hilton Hotel. The cost of the light rail is $1.75 per person.
The hotel is walking distance to the tournament site as well as to many area restaurants.
Reservations must be made by June 7, 2006. You must state you are with the U.S. Junior Olympic Judo Tournament in order to receive the discounted rate.

Reminder: Effective September 30, 2005 junior athletes can only accumulate points following their best finish at one of the three Junior National events: USA Judo National Junior Olympic Championships, U.S. Judo Federation Junior National Championships or U.S. Judo Association Junior National Championships. Points will be assigned based upon an athlete's best finish at any one of these events during a calendar year.
For these events, points are earned as follows:
1st place: 5 points
2nd place 3 points
3rd place: 2 points
