British Open Training Camp Photo Gallery

Following the British Open, many members of the U.S. Team, including the USA Judo Elite U-23 Team, stayed in Great Britain for a two-day training camp at the Dartford Judo Center, a British regional training site, along with teams from Scotland and Canada.  Among the coaches at the camp were Neil Adams, 1981 World Champion and two-time Olympic medalist; Jimmy Pedro, U-23 Head Coach and 1999 World Champion; Jason Morris, 2008 Olympic Head Coach nominee and 1992 Olympic silver medalist; and Eddie Liddie, USA Judo Director of Athlete Performance and 1984 Olympic bronze medalist.

Camp coaches included (l-r) Alan Roberts, Jason Morris, Neil Adams, Faycal Busbiat and Jimmy Pedro.

More than 40 athletes participated in the camp.
Jimmy Pedro makes us wonder if having a long tongue is a prerequisite for judo success.  Hmmmm...
