OTP World Cup Men’s Results

Complete Results

Two U.S. judo players competed in the OTP World Cup in Budapest, Hungary over the weekend.

 

Kenny Hashimoto (Thornton, Colo. / Northglenn Judo) lost in the first round of the 66kg division by ippon on Saturday to Christophe Besnard (FRA), a five-time World Cup medalist who won only one more match, eliminating Hashimoto from competition.

Djamaldin Aliev (Greenwood Village, Colo. / USA Judo National Training Site at the Olympic Training Center) lost in the first round by four penalties to Artem Bloshenko (UKR) who finished third two weeks ago at the Belgian Open.  Bloshenko lost in the next round, eliminating Aliev.
