11:49 a.m. Ryan Reser (73kg) threw his first opponent with a te guruma in 30 seconds.

Nick Kossor (60kg) was down on points when he threw his first opponent for ippon.

Adler Volmar (Open) beat PUR by a koka in Golden Score

Jeanette Rodriguez (48kg) made it to 40 seconds before World Champion Yanet Bermoy (CUB) threw her for a waza-ari. 

Franchesca Durand (52kg) lost to Melissa Rodriguez (ARG) by a yuko to a koka.

12:28 p.m. Alexa Liddie (44kg) pinned her first opponent Andrea Madgett (CAN), but was armbarred by the Venezuelan.

Justin Flores (66kg) lost to Leandro Cunho (BRA) by two kokas in the first round.

Nick Kossor, down by a shido, threw his opponent for ippon.

Valerie Gotay (57kg) beat CUB waza-ari to yuko.

Heidi Moore (Open) was pinned in the first round.

12:42 p.m. Valerie Gotay (57kg) gave her U.S. fans a scare when she was handed a penalty with two minutes left in the match against Colombia.  Colombia earned a penalty of her own wit 30 seconds left and Gotay finished off the match with a double leg for a koka with two seconds left.

Liddie's round robin has ended and she earns the first silver medal for Team USA. 

2:31 p.m. Gotay will fight BRA tonight for gold.

Rodriguez lost in the repechage.  Down by a koka, she was thrown by Isabelle Latullipe in the second minute.

Kossor lost to Brazil and then dropped down to the repechage where he was thrown by BRA for waza-ari.  ECU was given two penalties, but won the match.

Flores threw his first repechage opponent 45 seconds into the match and threw ELS in the second minute of the next match.  Flores has one more match to advance to the bronze medal round.

2:46 p.m. Kyle Taketa (55kg) lost his first match and advanced through the repechage to fight Hiram Cruz (PUR) for bronze.

2:57 p.m. Moore armbarred Vanessa Zambotti in the Open repechage and will face Melissa Mojica in the semifinal.

Reser threw the Dominican to win on points and will face Brazil in the gold medal final. 

3:15 p.m. Flores threw Felipe Novoa for ippon to advance to the bronze medal match against Sasha Mehmedovic.

Volmar lost in the Open semifinal and will fight VEN for bronze.
