Seven U.S. Athletes to Fight for Bronze Tonight at the Pan Am Championships

Out of eight divisions contested on Thursday, U.S. athletes will be fighting for bronze medals in seven divisions: women’s 63kg, 70kg and 78kg and men’s 81kg, 90kg, 100kg and +100kg.

The evening U.S. match-ups are as follows:

63kg:     Kristen Allan (Springfield, Va. / Sport Judo) vs. Isis Barreto (VEN)

70kg:     Ronda Rousey (Wakefield, Mass. / USA Judo National Team FORCE) vs. Catherine Roberge (CAN)

78kg:     Marina Lambert (Chesapeake, Va. / Washington Judo) vs. Marylise Levesque (CAN)

81kg:     Aaron Cohen (Buffalo Grove, Ill. / Cohen’s Judo) vs. Tyler Boras (CAN)

90kg:     Garry St. Leger (Brooklyn, N.Y. / Starrett Judo) vs. Diego Rosati (ARG)

100kg:   Adler Volmar (Coral Springs, Fla. / USA Judo National Training Site at North Miami) vs. Keith Morgan

+100kg: Kirk Hoffmann (Colorado Springs, Colo. / USA Judo National Training Site at the Olympic Training Center) vs. Carlos Zegarra (PER)
