Team USA Qualifies Four Slots for the 2008 Paralympic Games

The International Blind Sports Association has announced that the United States will be allocated four slots for the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing based on performances at the 2006 and 2007 World Championships and 2007 ParaPan American Games.  

The divisions that are qualified for U.S. representation are: men’s 81kg, 100kg and +100kg and women’s 70kg.   

Athletes who competed in one of the three IBSA-sanctioned tournaments listed above and meet the additional selection criteria will be eligible to participate in the 2008 Paralympic Team Trials on April 26 during the Northglenn Classic.
