Frank Fullerton Inducted into Pan American Judo Union Hall of Fame
USA Judo would like to congratulate Dr. Frank Fullerton on his induction into the Pan American Judo Union Hall of Fame Ceremony, held Friday following the Pan American Championships in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Fullerton, the PJU Sports Director, has been one of the most influencial people in the international community for several decades. During his distinguished career, Dr. Fullerton, a seventh-degree black belt and international referee, was a past president of USA Judo, member of the U.S. Olympic Committee Board of Directors and delegate to the International Judo Federation. Dr. Fullerton has received many honors for his work in the sport of judo, including his receipt of the John Osako, Henry Stone and Adrea Bregman Memorial Awards and recognition as the Black Belt Magazine Man of the Year. In addition, Fullerton was named the 1976 Texas Man of the Year and recently received the New York Athletic Club's Lifetime Achievement Award at the New York Open, March 18 in New York City.
