Jose Montesino Passes Away in Bolivia

USA Judo is saddened to have learned of the passing of Jose Montesino, assistant to Pan American Judo Union Treasurer Edgar Claure, in a traffic accident in Bolivia. 

Montesino was 33-years-old and leaves behind his wife Yamileth Ibáñez.

"Our throughts and prayers are with the entire PJU family, and, most specifically Mr. Claure," said USA Judo CEO Jose H. Rodriguez (Colorado Springs, Colo.)  "We ask the USA Judo family to keep Mr. Montesino in your prayers."
