| How to get Involved
Judo is one of the safest sports for athletes of all ages. Many clubs allow participation by children as young as 4-years-old while older athletes are able to train and compete throughout adulthood with some judokas competing into their 80s and 90s.
There are hundreds of judo clubs (dojos) located throughout the country. Visit the State Organizations page for a comprehensive list of USA Judo clubs near you.
In addition to judo-specific clubs, judo also is often taught through other organizations such as YMCAs and chapters of the Police Athletic League which recently formed a partnership with USA Judo to allow PAL youth in key regions to participate in judo. |
