USA Judo is the National Governing Body for Judo in the United States and is a member of the United States Olympic Committee, the Pan American Judo Confederation, and the International Judo Federation . USA Judo has overall authority to govern all aspects of amateur Judo in the United States and to select and prepare American teams for international competition.

What is Judo?

Judo is an Olympic Sport. It is a system of self-defense, a physical and mental discipline that was first contested in the Olympic Games at the Tokyo Olympic Games in 1964. Judo is one of the best sports for boys and girls not only to develop self-confidence but as a sport that teaches skills that are transferable to all other sports.
